We are looking for a full time Clean Air Validation Engineer to join our growing team of service engineers. You’ll be working alongside our other service engineers across a large number of our commercial clients across the North West and surrounding areas. The role will be office based and remote over a 5 day week and requires a full UK driving license. This role involves carrying out all routine testing to meet the requirements laid down in BS EN ISO 14644, BS EN 12469:2000, EU cGMP (Orange Guide) and HTM-03. You will be using state of the art equipment, maintained, and calibrated to the latest standards. Thermatic Technical FM provide complete nationwide coverage, across the full spectrum of Hard FM services to large, commercial clients. Our team of mobile engineers are supported by the account teams at Head Office to provide both reactive breakdown and planned maintenance services to our clients. Whilst this is our company standard working week, our clients require "out of hours" maintenance so early starts/late finishes & night works are to be expected. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Essential: HTM 03-01 Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role Technical awareness Responsibilities include: Execution of Installation and Operational Qualification Protocols Validation of new and existing HVAC systems Validation of Operating theatres to HTM 03-01 Ensuring equipment operates to specification Investigating and fault finding on site when failures occur Developing and maintaining working relationships with new and existing clients and site teams Supporting the development of the Service Department Filter integrity testing (DOP testing) Measurement of air supply/extract rates Measurement of air change rates Measurement of air velocities in isolators & LAF cabinets Measurement of pressure differentials Work on own initiative Experience of working in a customer-focused environment Sampling for airborne particles Sampling for airborne microbial contamination Surface sampling for microbial contamination Compliance with contractual requirements (KPI’s) Engineer Scheduling Our People We’re a business built on people and it’s the people that make us different from other companies.
