Our client has brand new Business Partner roles where you’ll lead the development, execution and monitoring of contracts for goods, services and work across a variety of business services, driving the growth of the position.
Initially a 2 year position, where your key responsibilities will include:
1. Provide expert advice on goods and services contracts, supply arrangements, consultancy contracts (e.g., AS4122), and works contracts (e.g. AS4000, GC21).
2. Identify and manage risks throughout the life cycle of capital and operational projects.
3. Manage disputes, claims, and financial monitoring to ensure timely resolutions to meet category objectives.
4. Continuously track contract performance within budget, ensuring legislative compliance with WH&S, EPA, and construction regulations throughout the contract lifecycle.
5. Assist divisions in delivering operational tasks by developing, leading, and executing contract management plans and sourcing strategies to optimize value for money.
6. Liaise with managers, supervisors, council officers, public authorities, and contractors to ensure smooth contract implementation and adherence to the council’s operational plans.
7. Continuously stay updated on relevant legislative and contractual requirements to maintain high-quality contract management
