Are you an experienced Quality Engineer or Quality Technician with CMM experience and a background in engineering manufacturing who is looking to join an established engineering business with an enviable reputation within their industry? If yes, read on….
My established client specialises in manufacturing components for the automotive industry. They are currently looking for a new Quality Engineer to join their small but established quality team. This position is commutable from Nuneaton, Warwick, Rugby, Leamington Spa, and Hinckley.
Duties Include:
1. Collaborate with production and design teams to promote customer satisfaction across all employees on site.
2. Manage the Quality Management System.
3. CMM Programming (training can be provided).
4. Monitor and report Quality KPIs.
5. PPAP's and APQP's.
6. Respond proactively to customer complaints and questionnaires, resolving them in a timely manner and reporting on outcomes.
7. Work closely with the Design Team to resolve any production-related build issues.
8. Maintain and improve existing Quality Systems.
9. Conduct internal and supplier audits as needed.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
1. Experience as a Quality Engineer within the Manufacturing Engineering industry.
2. CMM operating or programming experience.
3. PPAP, APQP, GD&T, and Basic Metrology experience.
4. Experience carrying out internal audits as per the ISO9001 standard.
5. Competent problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent oral and written English and basic computer skills.
The Package:
1. Starting salary of up to £40K per annum, depending on experience.
2. Day shifts, Monday to Friday including early finish Friday.
3. Pension and Enhanced Holiday Package.
