We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Administrator to work in a small, busy team, securing sales and growing our market share with existing and potential clients.
Job Purpose
The role of the Sales Administrator is to provide accurate and relevant advice to customers about our products and training services together with prompt recording of customer information.
Responsibilities
1. Make regular contact with allocated accounts with the aim of generating regular orders
2. Introduce new products and keep customer information up to date
3. Develop new business by contacting prospective customers
4. Issue and follow up on quotations
5. Negotiate sales through to conclusion
6. Liaise with external sales team
7. Confirm and update customer information on database system following calls with customers
8. Continue professional development in technical product knowledge
9. Other duties as required
Experience
Knowledge of SAGE accounting would be an advantage as well as working with a contacts database. Previous sales experience within an office environment is desirable but not essential.
Personal Skills
You should be a confident communicator with an ability to negotiate and influence others. A good standard of numeracy and literacy, and the ability to use MS Office and Sage are advantageous.
