Job Title: Behaviour/Sensory Classroom Assistant

Salary: £89.83 Per Day
Contract Type: Full-time/part-time (08:30am - 3:30pm)
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Behaviour Teaching Assistants to join our partnership school in Llandeilo, working with learners with Autism, sensory needs, and behaviour. Offering 1-1, 2-1 and small group support.
You will be required to work with learners aged 11-19 years old. You will need to create and maintain a strong rapport with learners to support them through their education. Many learners will have trauma, mental health issues, and additional learning needs.
You will support them within a classroom setting and during outside school trips. You will work alongside the Teacher to help plan and provide classroom work.
While a very rewarding role, this job opportunity will offer varied challenges and will require a resilient Behaviour Support Mentor to provide the appropriate support to learners and work to improve behaviour.
Requirements:
1. Hold GCSEs as Minimum
2. Have a Full and Clean Driving License
3. Have previous experience working with Behaviour/ADHD/ASD
4. DBS Enhanced - We can help with this
5. EWC - We can help with this
6. A comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding - Training provided
