Job Description
We're looking for a Player Care Lead to join our growing team at London City Lionesses.
This is a new position within the business, so the responsibilities are not set in stone. It is intended as an outline of the areas of activity and will be amended in light of the changing needs of London City Lionesses.

Role Purpose:
To support our London City Lionesses first team players to thrive in their training and performance as professional football players. A key part of the role will be welcoming and settling our new arrival players in the Kent/Bromley area.
Responsibilities:
Player Relations
* To develop professional relationships with players and representatives, acting as a point of contact for queries and assistance that may arise whilst they are a player at LCL.
* To empower players to address lifestyle demands/challenges and facilitate decision making to support positive wellbeing.
* To collaborate with and provide advice to players, colleagues and the broader team in the planning and provision of services to meet the players needs, ensuring there is consistent approach with the wider team.
* To work closely with members of the performance and wellbeing team to provide emotional wellbeing support to players.
Player Arrivals
* To provide high quality on-boarding into the club for both overseas and domestic players, working with the relevant departments and any other key stake holders to provide the highest quality care available to them.
* To assist with any other requirements players may have to ensure they are settled quickly into the area and are happy, including English lessons, setting up national insurance numbers and bank accounts for international players as required
Club responsibilities
* To develop, coordinate and monitor appropriate administration tools for the updating and safe recording of player information.
* To assist the Head of Media & Communications to support the successful delivery of all media, PR and commercial and partner player appearances for the women’s first team players.
* To attend fixtures and any pre and mid-season tours to assist with team operations, travel requirements, ticketing and match day logistics.
* To liaise and support players in respect of social media education and positive profiles.

The Person
* Experience of working in an operational role within an elite sporting environment – preferably with women.
* Familiarity with the local area & appropriate facilities & services
* Willingness to travel
* Trustworthy with integrity; capable of being privy to extremely confidential information without disclosure
* High EQ
* Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work with total discretion
* The ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner and practical approach to problem solving
* Calm and composed under pressure
* A commitment to driving forward continuous improvement in their working environment
* Excellent personal qualities such as communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure.
* A willingness to work flexible hours in accordance with the demands of the role
* Full driving license
