About The Curve
The Curve is The Warren’s digital-hub, dedicated to empowering young people by providing access to essential digital skills, creative technologies, and opportunities to bridge the digital divide. We support marginalised young people—including asylum seekers, care-experienced young people, LGBTQ+ youth, and those with disabilities—by equipping them with the tools and knowledge to navigate the digital world confidently.
We are seeking a Digital Inclusion Manager to lead the strategic development and delivery of our digital-inclusion initiatives, ensuring that young people who face barriers to digital access and skills development can fully participate in education, employment, and creative opportunities.
Role Purpose
The Digital Inclusion Manager will be responsible for overseeing The Curve’s digital inclusion strategy, managing partnerships, and ensuring the effective delivery of programmes that address digital inequalities. They will work closely with young people, staff, and external partners to expand access to digital tools, training, and opportunities for those most at risk of exclusion.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
* Develop and implement a comprehensive digital inclusion strategy for The Curve.
* Ensure that programmes align with the needs of young people as well as local and national digital inclusion priorities and best practices.
* Co-Lead on funding applications and lead on reporting to support the Senior Leadership Team in securing resources to expand The Curve’s digital inclusion work.
* Identify and respond to emerging challenges in digital access and skills development for young people.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with and the protection of children and young people.
2. Programme Development & Delivery
* Oversee the delivery of workshops, projects, and open-access sessions that support young people in developing digital skills.
* Lead initiatives that provide access to digital devices, internet connectivity, and assistive technologies.
* Work closely with young people to co-design inclusive, accessible, and engaging digital learning opportunities.
* Ensure that mental health and wellbeing support is embedded in digital learning programmes
3. Partnerships & Community Engagement
* Develop and manage relationships with local businesses, educational institutions, funders, and third-sector organisations to expand digital inclusion efforts.
* Represent The Curve on strategic boards and networks both locally and at a national level.
* Advocate for the needs of marginalised young people in digital policy and skills development discussions.
* Work with external partners to co-deliver projects, training, and community-led digital initiatives.
4. IT Partnership & Information Security
* Act as the primary liaison with The Warren’s IT support partner, ensuring that all technology and digital infrastructure is properly maintained and accessible for staff and young people.
* Oversee hardware and software management, ensuring all digital resources are up to date and effectively used.
* Work with IT partners to troubleshoot technical issues, improve digital services, and implement best practices for system management.
* Ensure strong information security practices, safeguarding young people's data and ensuring compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
* Develop and maintain clear policies on IT security, responsible technology use, and digital safeguarding.
5. Team Leadership & Development
* Manage and support a team of Digital Skills Workers and Tutors.
* Ensure staff are trained in digital accessibility, safeguarding, and inclusive learning approaches.
* Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture that prioritises young people’s needs.
6. Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact Measurement
* Oversee data collection and impact reporting, ensuring accurate measurement of The Curve’s digital inclusion efforts.
* Analyse programme data to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
* Produce reports for funders, stakeholders, and internal leadership to demonstrate The Curve’s impact.
* Using a Participatory Appraisal framework to inform continuous programme development.
