Solar PV Electrical Supervisor

Due to continued success and expansion within our Divisions, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Solar PV Supervisor to join our team.
You will be involved in the installation of Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging systems as part of existing client frameworks in domestic and commercial environments.
About the Role
• Be familiar with regulations, recommendations for safe working procedures and method statements applicable to the works and ensure they are enforced
• Amending/produce RAMS as required and setting teams to work
• Coordinate tasks according to programme, plans and priorities
• Monitor attendance of direct labour, engineers and sub-contractors
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities as required
• Supervise workers and tradespeople involved in work scope
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
• Resolve site issues as far as possible when they arise and /or request assistance
• Report on work scope progress to operations team
• Maintaining detailed and accurate site reports
• Installation & testing of electrical & Solar PV systems, Small Power & Lighting, solar PV, battery storage and EV charge points
• Ensure all electrical work is safe, certified and complies with relevant regulations
• Managing paperwork on site including quality checks
• Liaising with customer and roofing team on site to ensure smooth installation

• Understanding specifications, sketches and drawings
• Zero defects attitude
• Flexibility to travel, working between main office and site based
• Must have previous experience of working within the construction industry.
• Time served with the necessary vocational qualifications
• Fully qualified Electrician (solar PV experience preferable but not essential, training can be provided)
• Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations certification
• NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regs
• Excellent knowledge of wiring regulations and certification.
• Ability to perform system inspection & testing to BS 7671, commissioning and handover.
• Valid CSCS Card
• Full driving licence
The role will be based between our Head Office in Stirling and site located in Stirling, Mon-Thur 8-4pm and Friday 8-1.30pm.
