This excellent Team Manager opportunity involvesleading and managing a dedicated team of Property Claims Technicians and managing the day-to-day operation of the team – including productivity, people performance, and client service requirements.

What You Will Be Doing – Team Manager :
You’ll be driving individual and team performance through effective use of performance management tools and techniques, as well as assisting the Operations Manager with Internal and External audit procedures and the development of appropriate plans to ensure continuous improvement.
Your team will be handling a variety of enquiries from claimants such as homeowners, landlords and tenants, some of which may have been through circumstances which will require empathy, understanding and patience to gain accurate information on their claim.
Your skills and expertise will be vital in supporting your team in managing client relationships and analytical and critical decision making. You’ll ensure your team understand client requirements and are able to analyse complex information correctly to help make sound decisions to deliver on SLAs and achieve business KPIs.
About You:
1. An experienced leader with a deep understanding of the claims process
2. An understanding of the Insurance market, FSA procedures, regulatory requirements and standard policy terms and market variations
3. Experience in developing and managing individual Personal Development Plans
4. Able to seek customer feedback to enhance the customer journey and ensure strong team performance
5. Excellent written and verbal communication and organisation skills
6. Excellent customer service / client relation skills to manage relationships and provide effective dispute resolution
7. Strong financial literacy skills to utilise financial reporting information and insurance performance measuring
8. Efficiency in IT applications (Prime, Lotus Notes, MS Word, MS Excel)
