Job Overview:
This is a unique opportunity for conveyancing paralegals, fee earners, and legal professionals with experience in residential or commercial property transactions who are eager to transition into real estate finance law. You will be supported by a dynamic team of professionals as you develop your expertise in real estate finance matters such as property-backed loans, development finance, and acquisition financing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support senior lawyers in providing legal advice on real estate finance transactions, including acquisition financing, development finance, and refinancing.
* Draft, review, and assist in negotiating documentation related to real estate finance deals, such as facility agreements, loan agreements, and security documents.
* Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of legal opinions and other documentation.
* Manage aspects of a caseload relating to real estate finance, ensuring that client expectations and deadlines are met.
* Engage with clients, external parties, and other legal professionals to facilitate smooth and efficient transaction progress.
* Participate in training sessions and development opportunities to build knowledge and expertise in real estate finance law.
* Assist in business development activities, including client meetings, preparing proposals, and attending networking events.
Key Requirements:
* Experience as a conveyancing paralegal, fee earner, or legal professional with a strong understanding of residential or commercial property law.
* A genuine interest in transitioning into real estate finance law.
* Excellent communication and drafting skills, with attention to detail.
