A Reading based international Consulting Firm is seeking a Group Financial Analyst to join their growing team.
Operating autonomously as a subsidiary of a successful global organisation, this business has performed significantly well over the last 5 years and is set to continue to grow rapidly both organically and via acquisitions.
Reporting to the Director of Reporting, this key role under the new structure will be an integral part of the team with involvement across all areas of group reporting, building and developing a strong strategic partnership between the finance function and the wider global business.
Key Duties
* Planning & preparation of annual subsidiary accounts and support the preparation of the UK and European consolidated financial statements.
* Regularly business partner with relevant department heads, driving ad-hoc projects around acquisitions and systems transformation.
* Day to day engagement and management of the external audit, planning and timing of statutory accounts and statutory reporting.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, ideally trained in a reputable practice firm, with 1-2 years PQE. You should have good working knowledge of IFRS and experience in preparing or auditing statutory accounts for a large group. Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail are key.
