PURPOSE OF ROLE – ILS Engineer To work alongside the existing engineering team, to produce contract deliverables specified in the statement of work placed upon the business. KEY RESPONSIBILITES Job specific responsibilities for day-to-day duties include: Manage support requirements. Produce ILS documentation, inclusive of plans. Implement the integrated support plan, liaising with appropriate departments regarding training, spares R&M, and technical publications. Assist with safety case documentation. Operate within the terms and conditions of the contract regarding time, cost and deliverables.GENERAL Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to be flexible and work outside core hours on occasion. Travel to group sites and occasional overseas travel may be required. Must be able to work in the UK without restrictions & meet UK government security vetting criteria.COMPETENCIES & SKILLS Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and work with people at all levels. Self-confidant and assertive. Sound judgement and decision making ability. Ability to organise and prioritize a number of project simultaneously. Ability to understand customer requirements and to build good relationships 5-7 years within an engineering discipline.KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS A degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. Skilled in preparing technical reports and presentations for customers. Experience of working within an ISO 9001 organization.
