The purpose of the Programme Manager is to devise, promote and then manage and coordinate a number of projects across all functional areas of the Business. Creation of implementable solutions will lead to fundamental change to the Groups operations and investments. Primary to this is ensuring appropriate support is secured to articulate and then mitigate any health, safety and wellbeing risks associated with any projects and resulting solutions. Influencing internal and external stakeholders at all levels in articulation of the business case, then guiding and resourcing solutions through to implementation and delivery of benefit to the Group. Where you fit in: As our Regulatory Programme Manager you will To manage a programme of projects, delivering safe solutions. Seek out and build into programme an aggregation of commercial and non-tangible value delivering mutual benefit with stakeholders Lead and drive project teams (internal and external support partners and project managers) to meet desired outcomes. To contribute to and comply with a robust governance process Report progress and risks to key stakeholders on a regular basis Ensure time / cost / quality is managed across the programme of work To effectively liaise and maintain strong but challenging relationships across Kelda to deliver the appropriate optimal solution Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners e.g. academia, consultant and commercial bodies. To support project managers in undertaking resource planning and resolving conflicts (based on the relative priority of work within the programme) To utilise appropriate Programme Office support to ensure that forecasting at a programme level is accurate and robust and that Governance is adhered to What skills & qualifications you will need: Formal qualifications in Project Management and/or Prince2, APM, MSP or equivalent Experience of managing a range of projects in terms of size and complexity Experience of managing and developing project managers and senior technical staff Experience of producing financially secure business cases Commercially focused with good experience of structured procurement processes and effective supplier management Experience of working with outsourced services and delivery environments (with demonstrable 3rd party influence / negotiation skills) Strong stakeholder management Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills and experience of executive level reporting Sound analytical and problem solving capabilities Proven influencing and negotiating skills at all levels You will also benefit from having: Extensive experience of working in Change Management roles.
