Job Title: Employment LawyerLocation: Bristol City Centre (Hybrid Working)Salary Range: £40,000 + BenefitsContract: Full Time, PermanentRole Overview & Daily Responsibilities:Running a caseload of claimant employment matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, whistleblowing and breach of contract claims Managing claims through all stages, from initial advice to resolution, including Employment Tribunal proceedings Advising clients on their legal position, prospects of success, and potential remedies Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as ET1s, witness statements and settlement agreements Representing clients at hearings (where appropriate), settlement negotiations, and mediations Keeping up to date with current employment law and tribunal proceduresEmployee Benefits Package:Minimum 25 days holiday + BH Increasing holiday entitlement for continued years of service Holiday purchase/sale scheme - up to 5 days 9% employer contributed pension Bonus scheme of up to 5% (typically) Private medical insurance Hybrid working model - maximum 2 days office presence, however can work from the office more if desired High-quality IT equipment provided Free holiday insurance Free roadside cover insurance 50% discount of insurance products Flexible dress code when in officeApplication Criteria's:Previous experience in employment law is essential - ideally with a focus on claimant work Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) preferred, but experienced paralegals also considered Proven ability to manage your own caseload independently Experience handling Employment Tribunal claims is highly advantageous Excellent client care, written and verbal communication skillsAbout the Organisation:Our client is a leading legal and insurance business with a strong reputation for delivering excellent results and providing outstanding client service.
