As a People Operations Assistant, you'll provide a comprehensive administrative service to the people team, including responding to changing circumstances and requirements.
What does this role involve?
Joining us as a People Operations Assistant, you will provide administrative support for the recruitment of new team members and internal moves, distribute onboarding forms as required, and be the main contact for all new starters.
Teamwork
Working as part of our People team, you will ensure that processes are completed on time and accurately, provide a proactive and accurate administrative service across a wide range of ad hoc tasks, and ensure team member absence is recorded accurately each day. You will also ensure that queries are dealt with promptly, all complex queries are escalated, and that data is prepared and recorded.
You will also be required to prepare monthly payroll expectations for internal payroll, check payroll monthly, and action team member queries or complaints.
You will manage our internal client expectations, using your specialist knowledge and skills to add value to the team. You will do this by prioritising work in order of importance and/or urgency, having knowledge of UK law around holidays, and gaining a broad understanding of the business.
Skills and experience

1. have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate the capability to work independently and in a team
2. have a high level of organisational skills, with the ability to work accurately with attention to detail
3. be experienced in correspondence content, calculations, data manipulation and using and presenting data in Excel
4. be experienced working as an administrator
