We are looking for a Housekeeper to be based in one of our Community Resource Centre (CRC) at Combe Lea Resource Centre in Midsomer Norton on a part time basis. This is a permanent contract to support our housekeeping team, working 26.25 hours per week on four week rolling rota. What is a Community Resource Centre (CRC)? Bath and North East Somerset have two care homes which are Community Resource Centres located in Bath and Midsomer Norton. Each Community Resource Centre includes a residential care home for between 30 and 45 people, and these homes provide important services to older people in our community. We provide care and health services in a comfortable, safe environment for older vulnerable adults with a variety of disabilities, including dementia. About the Role Carry out domestic tasks which maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the care home, considering the wishes of services users. About You You will be a good team player and have great communication skills You will be able to develop appropriate and professional relationships with our residents and carers, which value them as individuals, including establishing and maintaining effective communication Undertake a laundry service for residents and a general laundry service for the care home, which will include sorting and washing laundry, ironing, operating laundry equipment, e.g., washers and dryers, irons. Cleaning soft furnishings within the home. Keep up-to-date written records.
