Job Description As a Employer Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing the Ascentis provision, with accounts in the Employer market. The role requires a balanced focus across Ascentis offerings, focusing mainly on Functional Skills and ESOL qualifications, ensuring that opportunities are maximised throughout the year. You will represent Ascentis qualifications at a range of internal and external events, generating new business from potential customers. You will work closely with employers, promoting Ascentis qualifications, meeting targets, and driving forward new business initiatives with a consultative, relationship-driven approach. While new customer acquisition is key, the role also prioritises relationship management. You will service current customer accounts as and when you bring these on, with a new business target, ensuring the highest level of customer care and actively supporting them to facilitate long-term growth and collaboration. You will maintain meaningful communication with your accounts through virtual and in-person meetings. Travel will be required nationally to meet both current and potential customers as an essential part of the role. We are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You should possess strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence through consultative sales abilities. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and goal-oriented, but focused on fostering lasting partnerships rather than quick wins, as this is a target-driven role.
