Your new role
As a Fund Accountant, you will report to the Fund Financial Controller and be responsible for all reporting on a portfolio of client funds. Your role will include producing statutory reporting, investor reporting, board papers, NAV calculations, income distribution calculations, and income tax and VAT returns for UK, Ireland, and Jersey funds or special purpose vehicles, as required. You will ensure appropriate records are maintained for entities and underlying assets on the ERP system, build, develop, and maintain good working relationships between the team and its internal/external clients and suppliers, and ensure compliance with group policies while refining existing procedures and processes with the support of senior team members. Additionally, you will provide oversight of loan administration and produce compliance reporting where required, oversee and be involved in invoice authorisation and cash management operations, and complete other ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
What you'll need to succeed
* Fully qualified accountant with fund accounting skills
* Previous experience in property accounting is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to deliver solutions within agreed timeframes
