About the role As one of our Marketing Executive’s you'll play a pivotal role to help support the Marketing team in planning and execution of strategic activity across all marketing and digital channels, helping to create and deliver marketing plans for all activity including Retail, Halfords Autocentre (HAC) and Halfords Mobile Expert (HME). You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders from across the business and work cross-functionally to support and develop marketing activity to promote our business. You will work closely with both the Customer Propositions and Trading Teams to deliver on the objectives. Your role will require you to work closely with our creative agencies and insight driven teams to deliver against customer and commercial. Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with the Category Trading Teams across motoring, acting as the marketing champion for trading activity, including range & service reviews, supplier funded activity and promotions. Lead campaign and channel planning meetings for the Marketing Team, ensuring that channel delivery teams are clearly briefed on activity. Work closely with the Planning Team supporting on key timings and ensuring campaign briefs align with any relevant activity. Brief categories on the annual campaign plan, ensuring compliance with legal marketing Manage the delivery of promotions across all channels, ensuring optimum execution. Produce and communicate engaging motoring marketing plans in the appropriate format to relevant stakeholders. Build strong and trusted cross-functional relationships with the range review co-ordinator, category, ops, marketing, digital, space, finance, IT, and customer solutions team to deliver aligned marketing plans. Skills & Experience Proven previous experience in marketing role. Experience of effective cross functional working Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and pressurised environment, with experience in managing multiple projects at any one time. Proactive attitude with a motivation to challenge the status quo and propose new creative ideas. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Good written communication skills. Previous brief writing experience preferable. Good verbal presentation skills, with experience presenting to groups.
