Motivate young adults to follow in your footsteps by sharing your professional journey About the role Dates: For panels between end of June and end of August 2025 Pay: Minimum £64 per panel (2 hrs). Pay bands depend on expertise and relevant experience. Accommodation and travel expenses not covered. You’ll be part of a panel discussion aimed at international students aged 18-24 with diverse interests and subject backgrounds. You’ll talk to them about: Your Journey: How did you get into your chosen career? What about it appealed to you? Enthusiasm: What do you most enjoy about your career? What positives came as a surprise to you? Skills: What skills did you need in order to be successful? What abilities have you developed? Decisions: What choices have you made along the way? What helped you decide when making difficult decisions? Reflections: Is there anything you would have done differently? What do you wish you’d known in hindsight? About you You’re enthusiastic about inspiring students to pursue their goals You’re eager to share knowledge of skills they may need to succeed You’re comfortable to openly reflect on your career trajectory, to help those considering their futures make informed choices You’re comfortable speaking openly and honestly to a group of up to 50 young adults Essential Experience of delivering talks to large groups of young adults Clarity explaining the career pathway you’ve taken Proven ability to reflect on the professional choices you made, and how you chose between multiple options Right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor work visas for this role) Desirable Experience working with international students Experience with summer schools or short term education settings
