Stores Person & Laboratory Filing Assistant - Pathology
We are recruiting for a Stores Person & Laboratory Assistant who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The role works across pathology receiving, unpacking, and restocking the working areas. The role includes the filing of microscope slides and blocks and the organisation of the tissue archive.
The role is part time, with the post holder ideally working 6 hours per day Monday to Friday.
The role will involve the processing of pathology tissue samples.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the receipt and safe storage of goods arriving in Pathology.
To be responsible for the rotation of stock and alerting the appropriate manager of excess or deficiency of laboratory consumables.
Filing of slides and the organization of the Histology sample archive.
To carry out the tasks leading to the provision of Client Services which include sample reception and handling, data input and report processing.
