Are you a Registered Nurse with Adult or Eating Disorder experience from the NHS or private care? If so, join our new exciting Middlewood team as the Clinical Services Manager and help some of the most vulnerable people in society build a brighter future.
Working alongside the Hospital Director & Quality Lead, you will be responsible for leading, overseeing and delivering great healthcare and empowering recovery to young adults aged 18 - 25 with an eating disorder.
As a senior member of the team, you will oversee staff planning to ensure the service is supported and will manage compliance in 12 weeks in advance. You will liaise with all members of staff and stakeholders to deliver a service aligned to an outstanding outcome within the CQC regulatory agenda.
Your responsibilities:
* Lead the Ward and MDT to deliver against all regulatory activity and within Best Practice standards.
* Support the Ward Manager to ensure that all staff within their sphere of accountability are receiving supervision in line with contractual obligations and Elysium Policy.
* Oversee that young adults have clear plans of care for the physical and psychological care and that these are maintained accurately.
* Contribute to the service by undertaking investigations into incidents, dealing with complaints and maintaining databases, as required.
* Fully oversee recruitment and retention across the hospital for clinical areas.
To be successful in this role:
* Registered Nurse with 5 years post-registration experience.
* Experience and understanding of KLOE's/CQC role.
* Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation related to groups, MHA/MCA/Safeguarding Adults.
* Knowledge of CQUIN and NICE guidance.
* Knowledge of standards for specialism e.g. Adult Eating Disorders Specification.

Location: Middlewood Clinic, Little Ashfield, Midhurst, GU29 9JP
Working at Middlewood Clinic, you will join the multidisciplinary team that provides inpatient care for young adults aged 18 - 25 years with a prime diagnosis of eating disorders and who may have other mental health conditions.
Combining the NICE guidelines recommended therapies, the service creates bespoke programmes that provide person-centred care to support each person's physical, medical and mental health needs. Young people will participate in psycho-education to support their care plans and are given the opportunity to engage in therapeutic programmes such as mindfulness, family and trauma therapy.
Working alongside the individual and their families, the MDT will collaboratively create care plans and risk assessments. You will empower individuals to manage and improve their health through their treatment within the community.
The service operates 24/7. You will work 9 - 5 Monday to Friday but have oversight of nursing staff working shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays, and nights. Standard shifts for the nursing team are 12.5 hours a day, working 3 days for three weeks and 4 days for one week.
