Job summary Admissions Lounge is a16 bedded Elective Pre-Operative Surgical Unit, with Post-Operative care for Day cases. Patients are admitted on the day of surgery to undergo a wide range of procedures under different specialities which are Thoracic, Urology, General Surgery, Colorectal, Gynaecological, Breast Surgery, Radiology and Oncology. This role involves preparing patients ready for theatre, looking after post-operative day case patients, supporting with discharging patients home and working closely with theatre to manage the theatre lists.
