William Hare Limited are looking for a Maintenance apprentice to complete a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician apprenticeship and join their team.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Servicing of machinery and equipment, including record keeping, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
* Fault find, diagnose and repair portable equipment, ladders, hoses and cranes
* Assist with diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on plant equipment
* Installation of mechanical and electrical services under supervision
* Implementation and adherence to all health and safety policies, generating risk assessments and completing all paperwork relating to health and safety
Skills Required:
* Literature, with good writing skills
* Good mathematical ability
* Ability to work on your own initiative
Personal Qualities the Candidate Must Have:
* Good timekeeping
* High-quality workmanship
* Key attention to detail
* The ability to follow instructions
Things to Consider:
During the first year, you will be required to attend the University of Sheffield AMRC Training Centre in Sheffield full-time for an initial block of study. You will return to your workplace one Friday per month. After the initial block training, you will attend the AMRC Training Centre for one day a week to undertake the knowledge study. The remaining four days will be spent in company learning on the job.

* GCSE English Language C or 4 or above
* GCSE Maths C or 4 or above
Applicants are also required to successfully complete a series of assessments at the University of Sheffield’s AMRC Training Centre, as well as an employer recruitment and selection process to secure a place on an apprenticeship programme.
