If so, we would love to hear from you. Our provider services support people who have Learning Disabilities and/or Autism with varying levels of need. This is an opportunity to be part of a service which makes a real difference to the lives of those people and their families. We work across Bath & North East Somerset, with bases at Connections (Writhlington) and Carrswood (Twerton). About the role: Volunteers within our services can fulfil a valuable role, bringing their skills and interests to the experiences we offer people we support. Examples of activities where volunteers can participate are: Art and craft Cooking and baking Internet and social media Personal development Communication Music, dance and drama Sports Model making Rambling/walking groups Vocational activities Gardening and grounds projects Setup and pack-away of activities Volunteers are not expected to fulfil tasks which require a trained support worker such as personal care, medication or monitoring a person who has specialist needs (epilepsy etcetera).
