Role Overview:
We are seeking a nurturing Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 3 students with SEMH and additional behaviour needs, including ASD and sensory issues. You will work across various subjects, ensuring each student receives the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist students in all subjects, focusing on their individual learning and sensory needs.
2. Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and behaviour management.
3. Build strong relationships with students and provide emotional support.
4. Collaborate with teachers to adapt learning materials to meet each student's needs.
5. Encourage independence and positive behaviour in students.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
6. Experience working with students with SEMH, ASD, and sensory needs.
7. Strong behaviour management skills.
8. Patience and a positive, nurturing approach.
9. Commitment to working collaboratively with the school team.
