What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of Deighton Gates Primary School are looking to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Head Teacher.
The Deputy Head will assist the Headteacher with the management and organisation of the school in seeking to achieve the highest standards of pupil achievement and school efficiency and deputise in the absence of the Headteacher both at short notice and over a longer term. Will play a major role in assisting the Headteacher to:
• Formulate the aims and the objectives of the school
• Establishing the policies through which they are to be achieved
• Managing staff and resources towards their achievement
• Monitoring progress towards their achievement
The Deputy Head role will include teaching, class responsibilities and dedicated Leadership time out of class.
