Our client, a specialist Fine Art & Antiques Shipping Company based in London, is seeking to appoint an experienced Museums and Exhibitions Coordinator.
You will have an understanding of museums and gallery procedures as well as knowledge of both UK Customs Export/Import formalities and UK Cultural export licensing procedures.

As the Museums and Exhibitions Coordinator, you will be managing selected aspects of individual projects such as producing handling notes, organising information, and following up queries.
You will also be liaising with clients verbally and in writing to clarify job details and prepare estimates so having excellent communication skills is a good attribute for this role.
We are keen to speak with applicants who have Shipping / Art handling knowledge and good IT skills (especially familiarity with spreadsheets).
Duties of a Museums and Exhibitions Coordinator:
1. Set up Project Files
2. Input data into a computerised shipping system
3. Administrative duties including filing and maintaining systems
4. Auditing of items in Storage
Experience of a Museums and Exhibitions Coordinator:
5. Administrative Skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
6. Excellent interpretation skills, communication with tact and diplomacy
7. Good time management and the ability to work under pressure of deadlines
8. Flexibility and initiative to solve problems
9. Willingness to learn new skills desirable
10. Must have a Museum background
