The Role : As the HR and Recruitment Officer you will make sure that the right talent is hired into the right role to make sure the company can continue to grow and develop and make sure that current staffing is reaching its peak performance. We are looking for someone with good experience within HR and will be willing to take the lead with any HR issues that may arise. HR: Issuing Offer Letters, Contracts, managing the holiday and sickness tracker, RTW checks, updating policies and contracts when required, dealing with Employee Relations Issues and day-to-day HR related queries. Recruitment: Managing the recruitment process from initial advert, candidate talent pooling, CV screening and first stage interviews, booking manager interviews, hiring and rejecting applications. Responsibilities: Use internal and external systems to advertise job vacancies as appropriate Ensure compliance with employment and data protection related to legal requirements Develop and keep up to date policies/ contracts relating to Employment and other Human Resources legislation Able to support managers with HR issues Management of Holiday and Sickness Tracker Issuing of HR paperwork (including but not limited to Contracts, offer letters, probation status letters, salary change, leaver paperwork etc) Greet starters on their first day Data entry on in house spreadsheets (Excel) Requirements Excel experience is essential Knowledge of HR and keeping up to date with new legislations and regulations Recruitment experience Time management Able to work independently Benefits Target commission scheme 24 days of annual leave bank holidays Office located within 2 minutes’ walk from Tube/DLR station Free gym membership Sociable, friendly and bubbly team environment Smart/casual dress code Career Progression Training delivered by Managers who have all organically grown within the company Additional Details: This role is full-time office based, working in Canary Wharf.
