We are looking for a Sub Agent to join our Natural Resources team based close to our sites across the Thames Valley region initially concentrating on a site in Culham, Oxfordshire, due to the nature of work we require a strong skillset and experience within Tier 1 Water and Civils frameworks.

As the Sub Agent you'll join Kier who are a strategic partner to Thames Water Capital Frameworks. This work is on their sewage treatment Waste Asset Assurance Programme (WAAP), delivering programmes of work within non-infrastructure schemes like upgrades to wastewater treatment works. This will be working on new and existing Infrastructure assets (below ground) and non-Infrastructure assets (above ground). The role plays a vital role in supporting the Site Agent/Project Manager in the day-to-day management and successful delivery of specific sections or packages of work on a construction project. This role involves close liaison with subcontractors, direct workforce supervision, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, and contributing to project success.
Subcontractor management, coordinating their activity on site and monitoring performance whilst making sure they comply with health and Safety.
Direct workforce supervision, assigning tasks and monitoring their progress. You'll ensure quality of their craft and provide guidance and support where needed.
Enforcing health and safety whilst conducting regular site inspections and identifying any potential hazards.
Implementing quality control procedures and checks, ensuring work is carried out to the correct standards and specifications.
Assistant with commercial forecasting on your schemes, ensuring robust control of actual costs, participate in forecast reviews, final cost & value review with commercial team
This role of Sub-Agent is great for you if you have:
~ Industry experience working in capital projects with a solid understanding of construction methods, materials and techniques.
~ Basic understanding of setting out and using surveying equipment.
~5 Day - Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certificate
~ Hold full UK Driving Licence
