This role is based in our Upminster office supporting around 4,000 employees with a fantastic People administration and advice service. Responsibilities You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR administration & advice service, and therefore previous experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment is a must. You’ll be responding to a variety of requests for assistance with people administration and process advice from line managers and colleagues, delivered through our service portal. You'll have personal objectives and targets to achieve. You will also have other accountabilities including supporting People Team processes (eg arranging investigations), and other key activities such as vetting, raising employment contracts, and supporting payroll activities. Previous experience of using HR Information Systems is a must, as a major part of the role will be updating employees records to ensure our colleagues are paid correctly, and that our people data is accurate for wider use within the business Whilst it can be demanding at times, the right candidate for this role will thrive in busy team. You’ll be comfortable in using HR systems and be able to keep up with the fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high levels of attention to detail. The business is rapidly growing and changing, and this means the team are regularly called on to support the wider People function with Tupe exercises & change activities, as well as cyclic people management processes. Qualifications To be successful you will have: To be successful you will have: CIPD Level 3 essential Ideally you will be of graduate-calibre with a higher educational qualification You’ll be detail-orientated, work at high levels of accuracy, with strong attention to detail. You will have the ability to work on a range of issues and support colleagues in a small team environment. A proactive, problem solving, customer centric approach is essential. You will be numerate, and confident and capable in using excel. You will need proven experience in using a range of HR systems from HRIS, Vetting and OH portals, to applicant tracking systems.
