About the Role
We are seeking a talented Drama and Music Educator to join our dynamic team at Witherslack Group. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Salary: Up to £62,771 per annum + attractive benefits package
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Drama and Music, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of our students. You will work closely with our experienced team of educators, therapists, and support staff to provide a comprehensive education and create a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver engaging Drama and Music lessons that cater to the needs of our students
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
* Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and extracurricular activities
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Drama and Music to students with ASD and SEMH needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Possess a 'can do' attitude and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
