This role in particular is supporting children with SLD, PMLD, Learning and Sensory Needs. The School and Role Vision for Education are working in partnership with a number of specialist schools within Huddersfield to work with children with ASD, SLD, PMLD, Learning and Sensory Needs. Requirements To be considered for this role, you will: Be able to undertake a thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service Have demonstrable experience of supporting and achieving exceptional outcomes with SEND learners within a mainstream or Special Needs setting To be expected to plan from the teachers’ framework and be able to implement a range of purposeful learning activities Be expected to support teachers in monitoring and evaluating young people's progress and achievements using a variety of assessments Be able to support school sufficiently in what they require Driving is not esstenial but advised Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
