Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Community Charge Nurse based in Maybole/Girvan.
What you will do:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered general nurse with current NMC registration to join our community nursing team. You will hold or be working towards qualifications in PG Cert Integrated Community Nursing or be willing to undertake these.
You will be based within a District Nursing team in Maybole/Girvan area although a requirement of the post holder will be a willingness to travel across the locality when required to meet the needs of the service. You will work in close partnership with colleagues across South Ayrshire ensuring an integrated approach to the delivery of compassionate care. You will also be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of service.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Professional qualification in nursing
Education to degree level in relevant field e.g. health studies
Post-graduate qualification in District Nursing or equivalent
Current experience of working within District Nursing
Good communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
Highly developed skills in team working and inter-personal skills
