RSK Land Development and Engineering (LDE) Ltd, part of the RSK Group, is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the team in Edinburgh. This is a full-time, permanent position.
RSK LDE Ltd was formed in 2003 when specialist design engineers joined RSK to strengthen its in-house capabilities. It now has a highly experienced team of professional civil and structural engineers with extensive experience in assessment, design, and construction of major development projects.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake infrastructure design under supervision using AutoCAD and other proprietary design software.
* Negotiate with Local and Drainage Authority Engineers on design for adoptable works.
* Implement designs in private areas to comply with current Codes of Practice.
* Collaborate with other members of the design team (Architect, M&E Engineer, Client, etc.).
* Stay updated with changes in legislation, codes of practice, design standards, and proprietary suppliers.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in drawing production following standard procedures.
* Practical understanding of civil engineering principles.
* Proficiency with industry-standard design software including PDS for highway design and ground modelling.
* 1st class honours or upper 2nd class degree in civil engineering.
* Graduate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and pursuing professional registration.
