Pupil Support Worker, 20 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year, Salary Pro Rata, fixed term until 10th August 2025

Carmondean Primary School and nursery is situated in the Deans area of Livingston, located within the Primary School building. We offer a range of full-time and half-day placements, and the nursery is open 50 weeks per year with staff working flexibly across the opening hours.
A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic Pupil Support Worker to join our established team within Carmondean Primary School ELC. We offer a wide and varied curriculum with play at the center, benefiting from two large outdoor spaces that we aim to further develop in the coming session. Experience or a strong interest in outdoor play is desirable.
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement to become registered with the SSSC, which stipulates that you must submit your application within three months of your start date.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
