The role of the Product Coordinator is to support the go-to-market process across all of our Team Sport projects. This role includes working across both sides of our Team Sport Business, Ball Sports and Motorsport. The Product Coordinator for the Team Sport Business Unit reports to the Category Manager.
Responsibilities
1. To work alongside Category/Product Manager to co-ordinate Team Sports product from development to launch (proto sample orders / approval, range layouts / calendars, Sales sample orders and delivery).
2. To submit Material ID requests for all Sports program products / program SMU.
3. To work with design to ensure all artwork is complete to the exact specifications of the customer/sales brief.
4. To work with Global Sourcing (EMEA) to ensure Team Sports products and programs are launched with achievable delivery dates and achieve target margin.
5. To manage all product roadmaps across the business and share with key stakeholders.
6. To coordinate samples and presentation tools for events including but not limited to Sales Meetings and Trade shows. This will include support when requested during key presentations.
7. Distribute development samples to the sales team and customers in a timely manner.
8. To ensure all licensed products go through our Licensor’s approval processes.
9. Maintain Shared drives to ensure all relevant product information is available to Sales and Internally.
10. To attend and participate in all licensed internal product reviews to ensure that all proto’s are matched to the design specification and are commercially viable.
11. To manage all product submissions with our Legal department.
12. To work with the sales team to obtain forecasts on all product launches.
13. To lead weekly workload meeting with design, and to provide direction on.
14. To lead weekly TAC meeting with Team Sport product team to ensure full team are aware of key upcoming deadlines.
15. To circulate weekly sell-thru data with internal product and design team.
Knowledge and Experience
1. Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages including Excel and PowerPoint.
2. Problem solving capabilities – a solution provider.
3. Strong organizational skills.
Qualifications and Achievements
Through experience, must be able to demonstrate achievement over time in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the sports industry and interest in sport desirable.
2. Contributing individual capabilities in the achievement of group objectives and working effectively with others in a group setting.
3. Enthusiastic and pro-active.
Education
1. Good secondary education, preferably up to A-level or equivalent standard.
Please note that this role is 4 days working in our Milton Keynes office, and 1 day working from home.
