Multi-Utility Estimator
Location: Berkshire - Hybrid
Salary: £55,000 + £5,000 car allowance

Fourblue are working with a leading multi-utility service provider, offering a fantastic opportunity to manage and deliver complex multi-utility tenders across various projects. If you have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
The Role:
As the Multi-Utility Estimator you will oversee a portfolio of multi-utility tenders at various stages of the pre-award process. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure the timely and efficient submission of competitive, technically sound, and financially viable tender proposals for utility projects across gas, water, and electrical networks.
Responsibilities of the Multi-Utility Estimator:
* Coordinate and manage a portfolio of multi-utility tenders across multiple geographical regions
* Prepare complete tender packages, including technical drawings, financial estimates, and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and group requirements
* Ensure all designs are technically sound, adhering to both internal and industry standards, and conduct pre-tender design risk assessments
* Liaise with the Tendering Manager, Sales Team, and clients to gather information, manage priorities, and address any health, safety, or commercial risks
* Specify materials, switchgear, and plant requirements, liaising with suppliers to obtain competitive quotes
* Attend tender review meetings and provide a full project handover to the design and operations teams once a contract is awarded
* Document all pre-tender risks on the Design Risk Register
* Stay up to date with changes in legislation, industry standards, and customer requirements, and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing
Criteria for the Multi-Utility Estimator:
* HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a relevant qualification in Construction is desirable
* Previous experience working on multi-utility projects is essential
