Role: Senior Civil Engineer\n\nLocation: Cardiff\n\nSalary: £44-£55k plus excellent benefits package.\n\nThe Company\nOur client is a busy, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Cardiff, covering everything from Structural and Drainage to Major Civils and Water Engineering. There is also parking on site and the office is within easy access of public transport lines.\n\nThe Role\nAs the Senior Civil Engineer, reporting to the Associate Director, you will lead the design delivery for a variety of projects within the drainage infrastructure sector, with challenging projects in sustainable urban and conventional surface water drainage. You’ll take pride in your work, solve complex engineering problems, and be in your element within a busy consultancy environment.\n\nResponsibilities\nProducing high quality deliverables\n\nSustainable urban drainage design\n\nConventional surface drainage design\n\nSolve challenging engineering dilemmas\n\nSupport in the management of the team\n\nTechnical support and resource planning Requirements\n\nRelevant Civil Engineering degree (Masters desirable but not essential)\n\n7+ years of experience within the drainage sector\n\nKnowledge of surface, and foul water design and/or construction.\n\nSewers for adoption and Design Manual for Roads and Bridges\n\nHave or be nearing Chartership\n\nHave SuDS Approval Body approval\n\nCompetent in 3D design and modelling\n\nHighly competent using MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and/or Autodesk ICM\n\nKnowledge of Water Authority approval processes (i.e. S104, S106)\n\nAwareness of Planning Policy and design requirements relating to flood risk management\n\nAble to manage workloads effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines\n\nCompetent in relationship building (i.e.
