An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Primary Care Workforce Planner to join the team in Hywel Dda University Health Board on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2026. The successful applicant will join the Workforce Planning Team, working within the People Planning pillar, and will be a dedicated resource and a key member of the Primary Care and Community Services Academy. The post holder will be employed exclusively to support workforce planning in Primary Care to address relevant actions highlighted within the Strategic Workforce Plan for Primary Care. Primary Care and Community Services like many other services across NHS Wales, are facing significant challenges related to delivery of services and ability to meet the changing needs of our local populations. As a result, it is imperative that strategic workforce planning is prioritised, through an integrated approach, to ensure multi-professional working is enabled, in alignment with local and national strategies. The role is integral to supporting the development of strategic workforce plans for Primary Care and Community Services, which will be enabled through collaboration with key stakeholders, working to promote the development of multi-disciplinary workforce solutions, delivered through sustainable workforce models.
