The Job The Platform Reconciliations and Controls Administrator role supports key processes and work across the Reconciliations and Controls department. You will work as part of a team to facilitate and deliver monthly and daily processes and undertake client transaction reconciliation and processing activity while adhering to appropriate regulatory guidance and internal timescales. The successful candidate will support the business operation by completing several critical business processes. Additionally, you will work to support the delivery of the functions regulatory and internal reporting requirements, whilst engaging with our Operations teams to ensure the timely application of distributions cash and asset transactions. Key Responsibilities You will take responsibility for operating and maintaining core team processes, money processing and reporting for four nominee companies, ensuring consistencies against procedures, process checking and error control. You will take responsibility for the timely processing, reconciliation and reporting activities including investigating any issues or exceptions that may arise in your processes. Process the management of exceptions arising from the team’s core work, this is typically, the result of processing failures that require investigation and a solution outside the standard model. Take responsibility for own development and work towards completing capability matrix measures and actively seek to build a full working knowledge of all end-to-end processes of the platform. Provide assurance to your colleagues work to ensure that errors are minimised, and the customer receives the best quality service. Desirable but not essential: Experience within a Financial Services organisation Understanding of the principles of CASS/Client Money regulations, rules, and practices Strong grasp of banking and reconciliation solutions, tax wrappers and associated regulations Good knowledge of the platform market, competitors, and platform investments What’s in it for you?
