Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm – Initially Temporary to Permanent
This role requires a DBS (Basic Disclosure) which can be conducted by the client
An opportunity has arisen for a Housing Assistant to work closely with their tenants and provide support to colleagues across the department. The role will report to the Neighbourhood Manager in delivering a high quality, customer focussed service to both tenants and the Housing Management team.
The role:
* Deliver the highest possible standard of Customer Service to both tenants and internal stakeholders
* Identify opportunities for improvement and address concerns providing feedback
* Provide admin support to the Housing Team
* Acknowledge and respond to initial queries received in person, via email, telephone and social media
* Carry out home visits to tenants in response to a range of housing management queries as required
* Support the delivery of estate inspections and community walkabouts
* Maintain and monitor systems registers, records and databases
* Process payment of invoices
* Assist with service improvements as required
* Upkeep of all systems, policies and procedures
About You
* A strong track record of demonstrable achievement in the delivery of admin and customer service
* Previous experience of working with internal and external stakeholders
* Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excellent IT skills
* Confident and enthusiastic with excellent customer service
* Team player that can collaborate and work as part of an effective team
* Strong communicator that can act decisively and work at pace

* Up to date knowledge of legislation in relation to housing
* Comprehensive working knowledge of housing services
