Your Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies, policies, and cybersecurity strategies to ensure IT effectively enables the New Mobility business strategy, aligns with overall IT strategies and policies of Magna International, and protects organizational data and systems.
2. Oversee and lead all IT activities, including the IT security function, within the New Mobility group, ensuring effective implementation, execution, and adherence to Magna's policies, standards, controls, the latest security technologies, threats, and best practices.
3. Foster and maintain a strong and collaborative relationship between Global IT, New Mobility leadership, and the various functions and locations within New Mobility.
4. Maximize the value derived from IT assets, investments, and capabilities across the organization.
5. Be a collaborative partner in both the Magna’s Extended IT Leadership team as well as Magna’s IT Security Leadership team.
6. Oversee compliance-related activities, ensuring adherence to Magna’s standards, policies and best practices.
7. Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and systems to support business operations, considering cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize IT projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely project delivery.
9. Stay abreast of emerging IT trends and advancements, identifying opportunities for leveraging new technologies and processes.
10. Monitor and manage the New Mobility IT budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and cost-effective procurement of hardware, software, and services.
11. Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective collaboration on IT initiatives.
12. Regularly assess and report on the performance of IT systems and infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.
Who we are looking for
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on IT strategy, cybersecurity, and project management.
3. Experience working in automotive or manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of IT security frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices.
5. Solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
6. Solid understanding of IT security technologies and solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
7. Familiarity with cloud computing, network architecture, virtualization, and data privacy regulations.
8. Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and project management methodologies.
9. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
11. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving organizational goals and objectives.
12. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
13. Extensive experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures.
14. Knowledge of industry regulations and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA.
15. Experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and incident response planning.
16. Familiarity with penetration testing, security incident and event management (SIEM), and security awareness training programs.
17. Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align IT strategies with overall organizational goals.
18. Industry certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) are highly desirable.
