The Head of Delivery is responsible for leading the successful delivery of technology change across the Group by defining and advocating agile best practices. This role involves overseeing all delivery processes, identifying current or future impediments, and working with relevant teams to resolve them. The Head of Agile Delivery will collaborate with colleagues across Group Technology to enable the delivery of technology change by establishing go-forward solutions and managing the resolution of blockages and obstacles. Key responsibilities Collaborative Delivery: Work collaboratively with colleagues across Group Technology to drive the delivery of technology change by establishing effective solutions and managing the resolution of any obstacles Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the delivery process, focusing on optimising delivery rates and processes, measuring team performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations, managing dependencies and risks, planning and scheduling multiple work items, and managing third-party provider performance Reporting and Communication: Create and share key dashboards and reports on the progress of change, ensuring that key stakeholders, customers, and third parties are engaged and aligned with delivery expectations Strategic Collaboration: Foster productive collaboration between key strategic delivery partners, Group Technology, and the change delivery program, ensuring that Group Technology teams are focused on the right priorities for the business Cost and Budget Management: Provide support to enable effective cost, value, and budget management for Group Technology cost centres Agile Advocacy: Champion and promote the ongoing drive for increasingly agile and empowered delivery teams Stakeholder Management: In partnership with other members of Group Technology, support and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, helping to bridge the gap between requirements and delivery Team Leadership Lead a team of SCRUM masters and Technology Project Managers who will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of technology-focused change projects and initiatives. Knowledge, skills and experience Proven experience of effective collaboration across a number of teams to deliver objectives and plans within agreed timescales, demonstrating effective leadership skills and the ability to quickly gain credibility Comprehensive understanding of Agile delivery practices A track record of developing strong working relationships with a wide number of stakeholders, internal and external Experience of delivery complex programmes of work Proven experience of managing a team of diverse skillsets Excellent planning and organisational skills, with an understanding of project/programme management techniques Experience of using Atlassian Jira Premium to track and report on delivery across the department.
