We are looking for an experienced, qualified Service Development Programme Manager to join our People Directorate management team, with the ability to support and direct the delivery of complex strategic change projects. This role is part-time for 30 hours per week across four days, working days will be confirmed with the successful applicant. Key responsibilities Take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex projects that generate financial savings, drive organizational change, and impact services for residents. Work collaboratively with directorate management teams, project managers, and operational leads to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Assist programme sponsors by offering strategic guidance, solving complex problems, creating work specifications, and managing stakeholders. Encourage and maintain project momentum by applying your expertise in programme and project management. Oversee the recruitment and management of external consultants where required, ensuring their work aligns with project goals. Facilitate projects that have a direct and meaningful impact on the services provided to the community, while achieving significant financial and operational improvements.
