Transport Support Manager
We are seeking a Transport Support Manager to join our drinks team in Bathgate. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday with rotating shifts.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide leadership and effective management of fleet teams, ensuring all objectives and targets are achieved within prescribed timescales. Effective communication will be developed with and between departments and business streams to meet objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating and prioritizing activity across shifts and business streams to ensure customer service requirements are met
* Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through effective use of resources and management of staff
* Maintaining accurate records and planning to ensure targets are achieved within financial costings
* Encouraging employee participation in method improvement, raising quality, and effective team working
* Promoting a flexible approach to delivering business requirements
Requirements
* Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills with effective written and oral communication
* Good organisation skills with ability to prioritise work whilst customer focus is a priority
* Natural leadership, communication, and influencing skills with people management experience and ability to develop a multi-skilled and flexible team
* PC Skills: Excel, Word, with a working knowledge of both WTD and digital tachographs (a bonus)
