Job Advert Role Description
**Registered Nurse (RGN)***
As a Registered Nurse (RGN) you will be responsible for the care of our service users. Apple Mews care home is located in Armagh, the site has 30 service users, split up into small household bungalows each with 5/6 residents, suffering from high dependency learning disabilities. This small group environment offers our nurses a genuine opportunity to take the theory of relationship centred practice from the text book, and put it into practice, so truly individualised care becomes reality. You will be at the forefront of providing a first class service where you make a difference to everyone you support.
As a Registered Nurse (RGN) you will:
1. Hold a current NMC pin number and be RGN qualified
2. Knowledge and experience with administering medication safely
3. Be confident in creating and updating individualised care plans and documentation
4. Deliver hands on nursing care to ensure the well-being and health of our residents
5. Have an excellent understanding of the standards set by CQC
The postholder will be required to have valid right to work in the UK.
