This post will be an additional position to the existing Respiratory team in recognition of the need to expand both capacity and offer innovative evidence based respiratory care to our local population. The post holder will have the option to join the General Physician on-call rota (1 in 16) for non-selectedacute take. This consists of post take ward rounds on the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) or outlier wards in themorning and then post take ward rounds in the evening. We provide a multitude of specialist Respiratory Services including: Interventional Pulmonology sessions for bronchoscopy, EBUS TBNA, Medical Thoracoscopy & tunnelled indwelling pleural catheters.
