This post will be an additional position to the existing Respiratory team in recognition of the need to expand both capacity and offer innovative evidence-based respiratory care to our local population. The post holder will have the option to join the General Physician on-call rota (1 in 16) for non-selected acute take. This consists of post-take ward rounds on the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) or outlier wards in the morning and then post-take ward rounds in the evening.

1. Interventional Pulmonology sessions for bronchoscopy
2. EBUS TBNA
3. Medical Thoracoscopy & tunnelled indwelling pleural catheters
4. Lung Cancer Clinics & MDT
5. Inpatient Pleural service
6. Ambulatory Pleural Service
7. COPD MDT
8. Respiratory Physiology services
9. TB service
10. Bronchiectasis clinics
