Job Description:
What you’ll do:
* The role of the Finance Administrator is to deliver world-class performance through accurate record keeping and prompt actioning of assigned tasks.
* Taking a proactive approach to task management ensures that the credit control team are supported to obtain payment of outstanding debt.
* The success of this role will be further reliant on excellent communication skills and planning, and exceptional attention to detail.
How you’ll do it:
* Communication: To maximise corporate business performance by building and maintaining effective inter-departmental relationships, communicating recurring items and providing the highest standards in all customer interactions (internal and external).
* Personal Performance: To ensure highest level performance by meeting and/or exceeding defined KPIs and displaying a detailed working knowledge of all processes that impact AR.
* Administration and Finance: To ensure that all work streams under your control are operating at the highest level:
* Daily cash posting and reconciliations
* Raising credit notes and invoices
* Categorising incoming work and maintaining a shared mailbox
* Responding to customer enquiries
* Providing copy invoices as required
* Customer set up and maintenance
* Processing of customer claims
* Other admin tasks as required by the Credit Manager
What you’ll need:
* Working knowledge of MS Office inc. Word, Excel, email
* Fluency in English – verbal and written.
* Knowledge of ORACLE would be advantageous.
What you’ve done:
Experience should include:
* 3+ years’ experience in administration
* Exposure to retail and distribution companies with significant volume
* Exposure to Finance administration
