Position: Electronics Engineer Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum Hours: .1 FTE, 39 hours per week Reporting to: Head of Hardware Delivery Job Category : Technical Job Type: Full Time Permanent Job Location: Cambridge Benefits: 25 days holidays, bonus, Halma Pension plan Duties & Responsibilities Produce circuit simulations, schematic design, circuit layout, prototyping, and bench testing DFT, DFX, test coverage analysis, test fixture specifications Produce engineering reports and instructions Design Verification and Validation Contribute to product specifications, architecture, teardowns and cost optimisation initiatives Build prototypes, proof of concept models, board bring-up, test, and documentation Provide technical support to our Compliance team, Conduct analyses on faulty products and report findings Interpret schematics and datasheets for the wider team Support colleagues as required to assist the engineering team in meeting its objectives Other related duties as required Skills & Experience Degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field with at least three years of experience in a demanding commercial environment. Strong knowledge and understanding of electronics, with hands-on experience. Understanding of multidisciplinary product development and associated processes. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in an Agile environment would be advantageous. Capable of working independently when required. Exposure to regulated environments, ATEX, or Intrinsic Safety would be advantageous.
